About Me

I am an award-winning Journalist and Freelance Copywriter, currently seeking opportunities in Canada.

My latest role was as a Reporter at the Olive Press, a newspaper for expats in Spain. During this time, I led a campaign against the deadly painkiller, Nolotil and produced a vast range of engaging content. I was honoured to win the prestigious NCTJ 'Trainee News Journalist' Award for this work, celebrating outstanding journalistic achievements. I also wrote a variety of features and news stories, with a particular focus on travel journalism.

I have experience in digital marketing, radio broadcasting and a Masters degree in Journalism.

Over the past few years, I have built a portfolio of journalism and copywriting. From technical blog posts in the automotive sector to provoking pieces on digital poverty, I am delighted to showcase my range of skills. I have been published on numerous websites and created radio broadcasts for stations across the country from Scunthorpe to King's Lynn.

If you like what you see, I would love any work experience or freelance/paid work in content writing, SEO, comms, social media, broadcasting, journalism or anything writing related.

My interests include tourism, travel, local culture, history and events, books and vegan food, zero waste and ethical living amongst many other things. I am also a sports lover and play Ultimate Frisbee in my spare time.

I genuinely believe in the power of having a growth mindset – so am prepared to give anything a go, given half a chance.

I would love to hear from you. If you think I can add value, please get in touch.
